Parkway's First Annual Thanks + Giving Day

At the heart of Parkway is a profound commitment to giving back to our communities, and our Thanks + Giving Day embodies this spirit of gratitude and service across all our markets. Gathered as teams, we celebrated our team members and expressed gratitude by using our gifts to serve those less fortunate.

Our Thanks + Giving Day provides a chance for all team members to unite in achieving something far greater than individual efforts, offering a break from the daily hustle to focus on serving our communities.

During Parkway’s 2024 Thanks + Giving Day, we volunteered alongside:

Houston Food Bank: Around one million people in 18 southeast Texas counties experience food insecurity, lacking consistent access to nutritious food. The Houston Food Bank addresses this by distributing food and essentials and offering programs that promote long-term stability, including nutrition education, health management, and assistance with securing state-funded aid. Our Houston teams helped inspect, pack, and sort food donations, and keep the warehouse tidy.

The Giving Closet Project in Jacksonville, FL: This organization supports students in need by providing clothing and hygiene products, boosting their self-esteem and dignity. OurJacksonville teams assembled care packages containing a week's worth of clothing, two pairs of new shoes, and hygiene products for social workers to distribute to students. They also helped organize their inventory, ensuring students have access to essential items when they need them most.

We are incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and compassion on Parkway’s first annual Thanks + Giving Day. By coming together and serving our communities, we not only made a positive impact but also strengthened our bonds as a team. Here's to many more years of giving back and making a difference!
