Gulf South Pipeline Company Signs Long Term Lease Extension for 98K Square Foot Headquarters at Parkway’s 52-acre Greenway Plaza Campus in Central Houston


HOUSTON, TX – February 8, 2022 – Parkway Property Investments, LLC (“Parkway”) today announces that Houston-based Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP (“Gulf South”) is extending its 98,616-square-foot headquarters lease at Greenway Plaza, a landmark campus spanning 52 acres and strategically located between the Central Business District and Uptown. The long-term commitment in Nine Greenway Plaza, a 31-story Class-A tower spanning 746,824 square feet, extends Gulf South’s commitment to Greenway Plaza that began in 2006.

Gulf South was represented by Vice Chairman Christopher Oliver and Executive Managing Director David Guion of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. 

Senior Director of Leasing J.P. Hutcheson and Director of Leasing Rima Soroka negotiated on behalf of Parkway.

Gulf South transports natural gas directly from the Barnett, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, SCOOP/STACK, and Woodford shale plays, and indirectly from other basins via third-party pipelines and the Perryville Exchange. Deliveries are transported to both on-system and off-system markets in the Gulf Coast area, as well as to off-system markets in the South Central, Midwestern, and Southeastern United States.

Greenway Plaza tenants and their guests enjoy onsite offerings which include a 150,000-square-foot Life Time Diamond Club fitness facility, a child care center, activated common spaces, curated programming, as well as an array of acclaimed food and beverage concepts, including Feges BBQ, Tony’s, Fusion Eats and Greenway Coffee.
