President and Chief Executive Officer

Jim is our Chief Executive Officer and served as both President and CEO of Parkway, Inc. and Parkway Properties, Inc (collectively "PKY"). Jim joined PKY through a combination with Eola Capital, which he founded in 2000 and served as chairman since its inception. Eola acquired $1.3 billion of office assets backed by PSP, GE Capital, Lehman Brothers and others that included 13.3 million square feet in Florida, Atlanta and Virginia.

Previously, Jim served as chairman of the executive committee of DASCO, an owner and operator of medical office buildings throughout the United States, from 1999 until its sale to CNL Retirement in 2004 for $241 million. He teamed with Lehman Brothers to acquire and develop 28 properties totaling over 1.4 million square feet with an aggregate cost of $148 million.

In 1989, Jim founded and served as chairman of Associated Capital Properties, Inc., an office and investment company focusing in Florida, where he directed all areas of the company’s operations, including its strategic planning, acquisitions, development and financings, until its sale in 1997 to Highwoods Properties for $622 million. Jim subsequently served as a senior vice president for Highwoods from 1997 to 1999 and as a member of its board of directors from 1998 until 2000.

Prior to founding ACP, Jim served as the president of Major Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Major Realty Corporation, formerly a publicly held, full-service commercial, residential and industrial development company. Jim is a member of the chairman’s circle of the real estate advisory board for the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida.

Mike joined Parkway in 2006 and is currently responsible for Parkway's operations, which includes a nearly 9 million square foot office portfolio. In this capacity, he oversees all day-to-day operations for the company including property management, construction management, leasing, and budgeting. Prior to Parkway, Mike spent five years serving in the US Army where he worked in finance with assignments in Kosovo and with the Defense Intelligence Agency. He received a Master of Business Administration from Yale University's School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from West Point.

Noni is our General Counsel and is responsible for all legal and corporate governance matters. Noni leads the legal efforts related to Parkway's transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. Prior to joining Parkway, Noni worked as an associate in the corporate securities group at Hogan Lovells US LLP in Washington, D.C. and, following her time at Hogan, was an associate at Promontory Financial Group in Washington, D.C. In 2013, Noni was named to the Lawyers of Color 2013 Hot List for the Mid-Atlantic Region.  She is a member of the Emory University College Alumni Board and is a member of the Smithsonian Institution Orlando Host Committee. Ms Holmes-Kidd earned a B.A. from Emory University and a J.D. from the University of Virgina School of Law.

Scott serves as Parkway's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer.  He joined Parkway Properties, Inc. in 2012 as Vice President of Strategy and Administration and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer in September 2013. Prior to Parkway, Scott served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer for Eola Capital LLC, where he was responsible for managing all financial and tax reporting for the company and its joint ventures.  Scott's responsibilities included overseeing risk management, human resources, and information technology.

Prior to joining Eola Capital, Scott was the Director of Finance for Insurance Office of America, the ninth largest private insurance agency in the United State, from 2004 to 2005, where he was responsible for managing all financial and tax reporting for the company and its 12 subsidiaries.  From 1998 to 2004, Scott worked in public accounting as a tax manager for middle-market companies, focusing primarily in construction and real estate.  He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jason is our Chief Investment Officer. In his current role, Jason is responsible for handling the Company’s acquisition and disposition activities, including sourcing, underwriting and closing the transactions. Jason is also responsible for the firm’s development activity. Since joining Parkway, Jason has led over $3.5bn of real estate transactions.

Jason joined Parkway Properties, Inc. in 2011 as Vice President of Investments. Prior to joining Parkway, Jason was Vice President of Finance and Investments for Cogdell Spencer, a publicly traded REIT focused on the healthcare space. During his tenure there, Jason was responsible for its capital markets and M&A activity, joint venture structuring and all capital decisions, including its developments efforts, as part of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Cogdell Spencer, Jason was in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Banc of America Securities. During his tenure there, Jason successfully completed $7.0bn of real estate capital markets activity. This included public and private equity offerings, corporate M&A, portfolio sales and corporate debt transactions.

Jason is an active member in the Urban Land Institute. Additionally, Jason has held various designations, including Broker in the state of North Carolina and LEED Green Associate. Jason graduated Magma Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.

With over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate sector, he is responsible for identifying investment opportunities, expanding the portfolio and providing oversight of all operations for the region.  He also leads asset management, leasing, property management, construction management and business development efforts statewide.

Prior to rejoining Parkway in 2017, Shipley was the Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Cousins Properties Incorporated ("Cousins") where he managed the Orlando and Miami commercial real estate portfolios which were acquired as a result of a multi-market merger between Parkway and Cousins.  During his tenure at Cousins, he continued to add value by increasing NOI as well as renewing key tenants to position the assets for a successful dispostion.  In December 2017, the portfolio was sold by Cousins, and Shipley joined Parkway in an effort to expand their Florida presence.

Shipley joined Parkway Properties, Inc. (PPI") in 2013 and served as the Manager Director for the Florida region until its merger with Cousins in 2016.  Prior to joining PPI in 2013, he was the Senior Director of Leasing at Flagler where he was responsible for the leasing and marketing of 2 million square feet in the Central Florida region.  He began his commercial estate career at St. Joe/Advantis in 2002 and joined CBRE in 2004 where he specialized in landlord and tenant representation.

Shipley is an active community leader and is passionate about giving back.  His civic involvment includes: University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board Member, NAIOP Board Member, Make-A-Wish Foundation Board Member and a past Board Member for the March of Dimes.
